Que Dios Prevalezca

Hey everyone!!! Feliz lunes!

Few important updates: we back on the watermelon grind, it's honestly so good for no reason. Also bought lemons to make lemonade and the farmers tan is coming along nicely, happy almost summer:)

Ok don't got a lot of time so ill make this one a lil short lets run it back

first of all soccer night and english class are getting so many people, it's crazy that only a few weeks ago only one or two people were showing up and now we've got like 15! Big things

Our past two lessons with our friend Luis have been SO good. We taught resto and half of plan of salvation and he's just got so many thoughts and comments that blow me away. He's honestly one of the kindest, genuine people youll meet. He's also cracked at soccer and said he would give us free boxing lessons.

Last week we had a lesson about the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our friend Teresa, she's so cute, reminds me of mamá liz from Louisville. We had been planning on maybe asking her to be baptized and as we brought it up she literally asked us if she could be baptized. Even though inside we were doing a happy dance we kept our composure and said absolutely!!! So she's on date for the 28th but were going to have to move it because she needs to get to church. But we just taught WoW and she's trying to not drink coffee for a week, so proud of this girl!!! She's got a ton of faith and a big heart

We had zone conference on Friday, seriously one of my favorite days of the transfer, just a couple things I loved from the trainings:

◇you will leave here with nothing that was said, but the impressions you receive
◇we read in acts 16:25-34, "earthquakes" (crazy life things) open hearts, they bring people to seek the gospel
◇ trying to please others before pleasing God is inverting the first and second great commandments, it is forgetting which way we face
◇repenting is returning to the foundation of doctrine

Sunday made my whole week because we got three of our friends and three new members at church, wed been struggling with that as a district and so to see them there in the chapel made my heart so happy, they even sang the hymns cry.

Random things
- HUGE shout out to Alex and Lai, they got married and sealed on Saturday, we didn't get to go but so happy for them
- we are now besties with the little kids in the complexes and trailer parks we knock
- I said a prayer asking that our friend would have an open heart and he asked after if we were cardiologists lol
- held a baby bunny that this latino family found
- ate mole on Sunday at the bobadillas house so good
- Elder Muir terrified me coming out of the bathroom, I think I jumped ten feet in the air

Ok spiritual thought time

Something President McGinn told me about receiving revelation is that prayers are usually answered in one of three ways: yes, no, or silence. And when you get silence, you say thank you Heavenly Father for trusting me and then you put your trust in Him and move forward. Of course He still expects us to study it out in our minds and pray for guidance, but sometimes He wants us to take a few steps in the dark before He gives a little more light. I have a testimony of trusting my Father because He really does hold the reins, this is His plan and He can make it all work out for your good. We might mess up and that's ok, we are all imperfect, but we are led by a perfect God and He's got you. Don't you ever forget how loved you are! More than you'll ever know!

That's it for today, I love yall so much!

Xoxo,

Hermana Neil
