Eres Creado Para El Gozo

hey hey!!! Feliz lunes!

I don't have a ton of time so this is gonna be short, (for a first lol). The transfer ends this week which is crazy, it's been such a good one, and I've loved serving with Hermana romero, she has taught me so much and knows how to constantly keep me laughing hahaha. This past week was a lot of general conference invites and lessons, and then of course general conference. It's crazy because a year ago I was watching it with my trainer and the Alders, time needs to hold her horses. But conference was SO GOOD! I honestly think of it as my little vacation on the mission because it's so nice to be able to just sit and listen to the Spirit. We had an amazing experience with our friend Katherine who came and watched the last session with us. We had invited her to church once before and she liked it but didn't say much about it. She comes to English class all the time so we always end up talking to her and we ended up inviting her to watch the conference. At the end of the session, she teared up as we talked about what we thought and especially as Sister Bates shared some of her thoughts because she told us she felt called to our church by God, ever since that first time she came to church. And then the one talk about "call, don't fall" really touched her. She said it's hard because she only has her brother here and the rest of her family is another religion, but she really feels called to this church. It was amazing to see the Spirit touch her, but its also so hard to feel like you're leaving behind your family's beliefs so prayers up for her!

 Short spiritual thought for yall:)

I think my favorite talk was Elder Uchtdorf's about higher joy, that's what missionary work brings me, a higher, unexplainable joy. I love when he said "we are created for you." That's our whole purpose! Joy in this life and the life to come, made possible by our Savior and His Atonement. He also invited us to seek joy, because "we rarely find something we're not looking for." There is always a reason to rejoice, to laugh, to smile, so my invitation for yall is to find the joy this week and bring it into the lives of others. God's plan is one of happiness. He wants you to find joy, not only in the world, but a higher joy found in His gospel, His rich blessings, the presence of His Spirit.

Dios te ama, Él va a hacer todo posible de ayudarte y guiarte para que un día puedas vivir con Él otra vez. Amo a mi Padre y Su plan de felicidad, estoy agradecida por un profeta viviente y el evangelio restaurado en la tierra.
