HOLA HOLA!!!  hey yall! There's SO much to unpack from the week, but before I get ahead of myself... TRANSFER NEWS  hermana jackson left me for lexington kentucky aka horse country:) I'm so excited for her, she was trained here in jasper so this will be her first big change, but I already know how blessed the people of lexington will be. This girl taught me true diligence and how to push yourself outside your comfort zone. She gave her all day in and day out, and I'm grateful God put her in my life right when I needed her the most. I can't wait to see all the good she does, gonna miss ya girl!!!  My new comp is hermana romero, she's the sweetest, funniest person I've ever met, and she was trained in my baby area hurstbourne:). You already know how much we've fangirled over louisville, I still miss that place, it'll always be like a second home, but jasper has definitely stolen my heart. Hermana Romero spoke spanish as her first language, she speaks perfe...

Hola a todos!!! Feliz lunes! Another 2 weeks without an email holy cow, and now we're coming up on transfers! I'm in denial of it all, I'm never gonna be an actual adult I've decided, mission bubble is bliss hahaha. But it was such a good week! Two things of notice: my new nickname is muñeca don't ask why, and I've decided to forget it's february and pretend it's summer, nobody wreck my dreams. Also im currently being taught salsa dancing, so pretty much almost latina yall.  Ok so first of all, we had another zone challenge and this time it was to have 100 mpls (member participating lessons) in one week, which based on our past numbers was gonna be hard, but because im blessed to serve with the most faithful, hard-working missionaries there are, we reached 107 this week! Big things One of those mpls was with our amazing friend Maite, goodness I just love that girl. She came to church for the first time last Sunday and loved it. We asked what she thought ...

Abundancia En El Señor

holaaaaa feliz lunes!!!  Ok main lesson of the week is I can't cut cake and I'm apparently a nun. But seriously this week was crazyyyy, good and bad and incredible things. Tuesday started off with service with our favorite name twin Carynne (still so confusing). We helped paint walls last week (well until she made us leave the house cause there was a slight chance of a gas leak and we were not for being blown up), so this week she had us tape the walls to prep for painting the baseboards. We were pretty much pros, so now I'm a certified taper. After that we spent some time working on revamping our English class because unfortunately we've had zero people lately cry, we're going hard though so just you wait we're gonna have a packed classes soon enough. Story time since I didn't write last week oops, such a slacker. So we were door knocking last week and I thought we should knock this one door, so we did and this latino guy opens the door and we tell him who ...

Hey howdy hey!!! I'm almost a cowgirl can you tell?  Let's run it back (like a month oops)! First of all I've never been so cold in my life. Do NOT go door knocking without like 5 layers when the wind chill is literally  negative 16, yeah big mistake. Couple big milestones were achieved: turned 20 and I've decided I want to be 19 again, been out for 11 months #oldmissionary eww, first zone conference of 2024, and Sister LeClere is turning me into a cowgirl and I'm all for it. I won't make this extremely long even though I haven't written in a sec, but a couple lessons I learned this past month:  1. I still don't know where anything is here. I had my first exchange with Sister Doutt and I had to lead out the area, but come to find out I was completely reliant on google maps surprise surprise I'm still directionally challenged hahaha. Sister Doutt taught me how to pound on doors when knocking and I taught her that getting DQ at 10am in the morning is p...
